We’ve been on a mission of caring for the world we live in since 1978, and our journey continues today. From our products to our packaging, we think about our potential environmental impact and we continuously work to maximise efficiency of our packaging and maximise recyclability.
We were the first beauty brand to use 100% post-consumer recycled materials in our PET bottles. When this isn’t possible, we combine post-consumer recycled materials with bioplastic made from sugarcane by-product that won’t compromise recycling systems.
Small change, big impact.
We believe by making small changes, together we can create a better future for the planet. So we're upping or sustainability stakes. We’ve launched Aveda Full Circle Takeback Program - our takeback programme for your qualifying Aveda empties* that cannot be recycled in your doorstep collection. We invite you to join our movement and do your small part to help protect our planet.

How AVEDA Full Circle Recycling works
Simply bring back your clean qualifying Aveda empties* (that can’t be recycled by your doorstep collections) to one of our participating salons, and we'll pass on all returned empties to our recycling partner. Our recycling partner will recycle what they can with any remaining materials being converted from waste to energy. As a little thank you from us (and the planet) for doing your part to return your qualifying Aveda empties, for a minimum of 2 eligible product returned, you'll receive 15% off your next purchase.
